PROJECT UPDATES
At the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) meeting on April 16, 2024, a purchase and sales agreement with the World Golf Foundation was approved. This agreement included the purchase of the PGA TOUR Productions building as well as the surrounding walkways, common areas, parking lots, and select building inventory. The agreement also continues operations of the IMAX Theater.
At the May 21, 2024 BCC meeting, St. Johns County economic development consultant Thomas P. Miller and Associates (TPMA) presented the results of the World Golf Village community survey and also provided recommendations for revisioning the area based on the community feedback.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The World Golf Village, as considered for this process, is defined as the area encumbered by the blue line (as seen in photos above) – to include the following specific properties:
• 1 World Golf Place – World Golf Hall of Fame Building
• 1 World Golf Place – IMAX Building
• 21 World Golf Place – PGA Tour Productions Building
• South Legacy Trail – Parking and Common Areas
The common theme of these properties is that, given impending relocations of current activities (e.g., the World Golf Hall of Fame and PGA Tour Productions), uses of the properties are subject to change in the near future, and ensuring that future uses of these properties fit with community needs is a priority for the Board of County Commissioners.
